As we experience record sunshine yet again, it only seems to make sense that we pack up the bikes once more and head to Europe…
This year’s plan in a nutshell:
Personnel: The Scootah and I
Flights: In to Venice, Italy, and about 3 weeks later home out of Amsterdam. That’s an entire continent of distance to make up, so there will no doubt be trains involved.
The hope (weather permitting): a couple of days in Venice, then bike west to Verona and a couple of the lakes (Guarda, i.e.)… Train up to Switzerland and bike around Lucerne and Zurich… Bike east, maybe through Innsbruck then north to Munich (mountains! eek!)… Train up to the the Netherlands and relax on the north coast for a bit (flat!), then head home…
But first, another week of attempting to get work to a state I can manage from an iPad nine hours away…
