Canal du Garonne, Day…3!

Canal du Garonne, Day…3!

From: Camping “le Moulin de Mellet” To: Camping “Montech” along the Canal de Garonne: 81 km

Not much to say; pretty much the same as the last couple of days.  Ridin’ along the canal, stopping for the occasional beer, wine or photo op…

OK, that’s the typical morning stop for hopefully a breakfast sandwich, or at least a croissant and pain au chocolate…  This time, sangies win!

Homme du Canal!

Even the nukes are pretty here… (For the record, je suis in favour of nuclear power. Prove me wrong)
Little square in yet another little town along the way we looked for beer in…

View from where we found beer in yet another little town…
Along the canal again. It IS 38 degrees above the canopy!
I think we had a beer here!

Another delightful day through small towns eager to please.

Hey!  That’s another canal… on a bridge… over another river!

And….eventually we make it to Montech Camping, right along the Canal…

Camping Montech?

Why not?  Swimming pool – and in the south of France, much less in the middle of a heat wave, why NOT pick a place with a swimming pool?  We found food, refreshments, and a surprising (for us) open restroom facility with a home-style kitchen you can keep things in the fridge with, cook in and recharge all your electronic incidentals.  Nice place!
